Customs strike - Greece - September 27th & 28th

Please be informed that the union of Greek Customs servants announced a strike for this Thursday and Friday (27th and 28th of September 2012).  

This action will affect :  

a) Exports from Greece to Rest of the World (R.O.W) both low and high value shipments

and

b) High value Imports to Greece from R.O.W origins.

Customs are expected to be back on duty by Monday, October 1st.

Please note that this is not a TNT strike.  

We would appreciate if you could all inform customers at origin accordingly and please keep escalations to minimum
